IT company PeerBoard brings everything the client needs to build a truly branded online community, connect with customers, and grow without a single tech headache. This is a modern community platform designed to live as an organic part of the client’s existing website or product to easily create an engaging discussion space wherever the users already are. 


PeerBoard is based in Silicon Valley and grows super fast. Now the company has a marketing department that performs a large number of tasks, but they do not have enough hands for other important things. That's why the company's CEO, Mikhail Larionov, is looking for a talented Junior Research & Business Development specialist to help PeerBoard distribute content to various social networks where the company's audience is present, interact with influencers and write to them to conclude partnerships, as well as interact with partners within the affiliate program.


What will you do?


  • Content distribution: post existing text content (it is written by other team members who are the native speakers) in relevant Facebook groups, on subreddits, and conduct research on new social media channels where the company's potential audience is located (for example, it can be crowdsourced media, such as Hacker News, etc.).
  • Affiliate Program Support: PeerBoard is just starting to make its affiliate support program, so they need help finding affiliate sources, where potential affiliates are located; supporting them, and promoting this program among those people.
  • Conduct influencers research on YouTube and other social networks that PeerBoard will be interested in working with for its own promotion and collaborations.
  • Outreach tasks: text those influencers & affiliates in a friendly and easy way and maintain pleasant communication with them to agree on collaborations, answer questions, etc. Mostly the communication will be conducted via emails and/or social media, however, phone calls are also possible (very rarely, just if somebody says “hey, I don’t have time for texting, let’s have a quick Zoom call to discuss everything”).

  • Excellent written & spoken English skills - you'll reach out to a PeerBoard audience via social media channels, so we don't want to hear or see (!) any mistakes.
  • Education and/or knowledge in the field of Marketing, Social Media Management, etc.: you need to understand the world of SaaS, social media, and how everything works there; how to reach out to influencers & potential customers, and some knowledge of community management would be great.
  • Self-reliance & focus on results: you can independently organize your own work, set goals, and achieve results. There will be no guidance and micro-management, you need to feel confident working on your own.
  • Proactiveness: you're full of new ideas and are ready to suggest new ways of growing PeerBoard's business. 
  • Research skills: you love digging for relevant info and are ready to proactively offer new resources that you have found to communicate with PeerBoard's target audience.
  • Readiness for routine tasks: performing outreach tasks may seem boring to someone, but you understand that it is a key source of influencers & partners, which means the key source for business growth, so you are ready to bring them to the company.
  • Ability to adjust to the PST time-zone: it means that until you become independent, you will need to work in the evenings (from 20:00 Moscow time) to join the processes, ask all questions, etc. Further, the hours will be flexible (for example, in the evenings you will only call the manager a couple of times a week).

Not required but will be a huge plus:

  • YouTube production management skills: if you are interested and/or had previous experience, you’ll need to find those who can make videos based on the cool text content that the company already has; control the video shooting processes, write scripts for the videos. To do this, we need a person with experience, since there will be no guidance, so if you have experience in video production - it will be a super advantage.

  • Part-time employment (4 working hours per day, 5/2). Please note that we support your desire to combine this job with studies, however, we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs. 
  • Remote work. You may be located in any country or city, just need a good Internet connection and the opportunity to adjust your working schedule to have overlapping hours with the team.
