Upflex provides mid-to-large size companies with instant access to thousands of desks, private offices, and meeting rooms in over 5,000 workspaces in 200 cities in 70 countries. Their technology leverages real-time vacant inventory of spaces and matches it with their client requirements. They also make it easy for traveling executives, remote workers, or long-distance commuters to have access to workspaces wherever they need them.

Adrien Gautier is the Chief Financial Officer at Upflex based in New York City, and at the moment he is looking for someone to take the role of a Junior Business Analyst to help him with analyzing the market and growing the company. 

What will you do? 

  • Doing research for the global workplace renting market.
  • Analyzing the key competitors, their offerings (pricing strategies), value proposition, their characteristics, growth, size. 
  • Focusing on the regional players as well as global flex office solutions providers. 
  • Identifying the target customers for the workplaces offered through the Upflex platform.
  • Reporting information about customers' preferences, added value, deals, etc.
  • Developing alternative pricing strategies for Upflex with the focus on the pricing strategy for different tiers.
  • Supporting functions of the business - Reconciliation of Revenue and COGS.
  • Researching and recommending business intelligence tools to increase KPIs. 
  • Other possible tasks.

Adrien is located in New York and he'll need to onboard you for a couple of first days/weeks and he also plans on having daily calls and weekly meetings after your onboarding is complete.

Not necessary but nice to have: 

  •  MBA student or graduate.

  •  Experience in market research and competitor analysis.
  •  Experience in working with startups.
  •  Experience in working with a CFO.

  • Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). For this vacancy, we consider only last-year students and recent graduates.
