PASV (Programming Academy in Silicon Valley) is an online programming school for Russian-speaking people in America. The school teaches people without IT experience the basics of programming and testing, prepares them for technical interviews, helps them build portfolios, and provides internship opportunities on commercial projects. Students of the school are also helped in finding employment - PASV guarantees to return the funds in double if you do not find a job within a year!

The founder of the school, Viktor Bogutsky, is a programmer with a lot of experience - he worked in Russian and European IT companies for more than 15 years and to this day continues to work as a leading developer in Silicon Valley.

Now the school is launching several training projects, where students can work out their development and testing skills so they can later get a job in these positions. In addition to training products and projects, there are two potentially commercial projects that already begin to attract people and can soon become independent products of the company. Viktor and his team are looking for a Project Manager with excellent organizing skills, who can manage not only students but also teachers, developers, and Viktor himself. Do you want to start your career as a Project Manager and dive into exciting projects? This is your opportunity to become one! Submit your application right now!

What will you do?

You will be responsible for managing commercial projects. Here are the tasks that you will have to face:

  • Writing documentation - you will create project requirements in English for users and clients of these projects. You will keep this documentation in Confluence - it is similar to Google doc and Github. Don't worry, it is very easy to learn!

  • Restoring order in processes and documentation of the projects - documentation is necessary for those people who will gradually be connected to projects. You need to make sure that everything is organized and easy to read.

  • Monitoring the work and progress of the projects - tasks are performed by both students of the school and other people in the company. At the moment the students are having issues with staying organized and allocating the tasks. Your duty would be to track who is responsible for what and whether the task needs to be transferred to another person to be completed in time.

  • Understanding the processes internally - for example, now the company is doing a project creating a CRM system for accounting for the work processes of small companies. Your task is to draw up requirements for the next parts of the project, prioritize the tasks and assign performers (students, developers, etc.), as well as create a task execution plan and run a retrospective.
