The founder of Grintern, Anastasia Sartan, is a data scientist, serial female entrepreneur, and a very inspiring person. She lives in California and knows all the needs of the startups better than anyone - she has founded not only the amazing career platform which you are browsing right now (yes-yes, but also two more successful startups: StyleHacks - the Google and Founders Fund-backed startup, leveraging AI, and voice commerce to create a personalized shopping experience; and one of the first largest fashion e-commerce company in Russia, funded by European investors and with an acquisition offer from in 2013.

Now, Grintern is growing rapidly and is looking for a Junior Operations & Automation Specialist who will be conducting analytics and doing lots of research to improve our sales processes and provide more and more young people with an opportunity to have an amazing career start.

What will you be doing?

  • Conducting analytics on the whole sales process to track how many clients came from which sources, how much time we spent on each deal, how to optimize the processes to improve results, etc. Conducting all types of statistics connected to the sales process on each stage of it.

  • Conducting research of new potential ways of automatization of sales processes and implementing them. 

  • Researching potential leads’ channels: startup and VC lists, conferences, forums, social media channels, groups, etc.

  • Collecting and formulating use-cases that we can broadcast on our website and social media.

  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for potential clients - to demonstrate what we’re capable of and make them interested. 

  • Developing and testing outreach templates to improve sales conversion.

  • Reaching out to potential clients via personalized emails or LinkedIn messages to make them interested and persuade them to schedule an online call with our Senior Sales Manager.

  • Analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Excel - you love working with data, can work with lots of complicated tables and formulas, can create funnel statistics. 
  • You are interested in automatization of processes, you can quickly learn how to set automatic emails, connect the CRM system to Gmail and Google Calendar, etc. You are curious to find new ways of automating and improving the process of lead generating. 
  • Fluent written English and excellent attention to details in writing - your scripts and slides will be sent to clients, we do not tolerate any grammar/spelling/typing/formatting mistakes. 
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint - you definitely align objects to each other, know how to create templates, use grid lines, know the rules of fonts and sizes, etc. Just having experience doing some slides for the university does not count - we need someone who dove deeper into formatting and slides creation.
  • Self-reliance and independence - we do not have time for micro-management, you need to be able to work on your own: be able to set tasks yourself, complete them, report on them, etc. 
  • Orientation on results - our team does everything according to the data-driven approach, actively uses OKRs, and strives to reach measurable results.
  • Excellent organizing skills - you track each step in the system, always check that everything is done on time, never forget about tasks, always put all the needed information into the needed folders/databases, etc.
  • Mission-sharing - you really care about young talents and their career aspirations, as well as about the startups’ founders’ valuable time, so you want to help those parties to organize a win-win situation.
  • You are an initiative person, propose new ideas about the automatization of the processes and different ways of outreach

Nice to have:

  • Experience using Zoho CRM (or other types of CRM systems) will be a plus - you will be dealing with it on a daily basis, so you need to be able to learn this tool in a few clicks. If you never tried this before but decide to test it out before the interview to get to know it better - a plus to your carma.


What we offer:

Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). For this vacancy, we consider only recent graduates or last-year students who are ready for the full commitment of 40 hours per week. Please note that we will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs.

Flexible working hours - you can work at any time of the day, you just need to join the stand-up calls with the team and some business calls with Grintern’s sales team. 

Fully remote work. You may be located in any country or city, as all of our team members are (yes, we’ve started working remotely before it became mainstream haha).
