Alexander Frantzen, the CEO & Founder of Carbon Calories, is a resource economist with an extensive background in both environmental impact consulting, financial consulting, and impact investing.

Now, Alexander is looking for a Jr. Business Development Specialist to help him develop his business and grow on the market. If you are looking for a career start and willing to improve the sales processes of the company, apply now!

What you will be doing: 

  • Setting up CRM systems such as HubSpot or AirTable - you will need to get familiar with them and manage them. 

  • Conducting market research - you will be searching for small sustainable businesses and associations. 

  • Finding potential clients and their contact details via various sources, and making lists of them. 

  • Uploading the lists of potential clients into CRM systems, providing indexing and tagging them to make them manageable in the systems. 

  • Sending outreach and follow-up emails to the potential clients - you will have templates to send out and will need to personalize them.

  • Setting up calls via Calendly for US colleagues. 

  • Processing clients’ data after the calls - you will add new clients to the newsletters, and share some files/information if needed.

  • Providing statistics and reports of your work - you will need to keep a record of the number of people you email, percentage of the response rate, analyze what template worked/didn't work on a weekly basis, etc.

Not necessary but will be a plus: 

  • Background in sustainability / science / coding / working with data. 

  • Interest in automating processes. 

  • Experience pitching products for companies to native speakers.

  • Desire to have sales calls with clients. 


What we offer: 

  • Full-time employment (8 working hours per day, 5/2). For this vacancy, we consider only senior last-year students and recent graduates. We will not consider candidates planning to combine several jobs. 

  • Remote work. You may be located in any country or city, just need a good Internet connection and the opportunity to adjust your working schedule to have overlapping hours with Alexander. 

  • Flexible hours, but you will need to be available everyday from 3 PM to 5 PM (Moscow time) and on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 12 AM (midnight, Moscow time) to work directly with the founder.
